I'm an artist and designer based in Melbourne, Australia. I create clean and colourful designs that involve a combination of controlled and fluid elements. My work is inspired by the shapes and colours I observe in the world around me. My favourite media include ink, watercolours, acrylics, gouache and digital media. I’ve also discovered a new love in creating beautiful blue cyanotype prints. I enjoy creating fresh designs and repeating patterns for textiles and surfaces. There's nothing more exciting than seeing my designs in other people's hands and homes!
I've taken the long way around to rediscovering my creativity, having worked for many years in different professions and jobs (science, government, libraries). I continue to work part-time in the library industry, but I recently returned to study in the field of visual arts, and found my passion in creating designs that are simple but full of colour and energy. When I'm not drawing or painting, I love to stitch, sew, read, cook, and drink tea on my back verandah. I have a patient partner and two impatient cats. I enjoy taking photos as I walk around my neighbourhood and city, and love discovering new places when I travel.
